We are looking for an experienced automotive panel beater to work with our existing team here at Exeter Engineering.
We specialise in classic car and motorcycle restoration, so the successful candidate will have superb attention to detail and work to the highest standards, capable of MIG, TIG or gas welding, brazing and lead loading. They must have experience with using english wheels/plenishers, shrinker/stretchers, pressbrakes, shears, hammers and dollys etc to build and craft panelwork in aluminium or mild steel. Experience of paint preperation is certainly a bonus.
We work on a wide variety of vehicles ranging from prewar, vintage and veteran, through to 70’s and 80’s and therefore this is not an everyday opportunity!
Other tasks may include basic ash framing, ‘strip and fit’ work and bodywork depending on your skills and expertise.

Salary: £26,000 to £34,000/year dependent on experience and background.
